Just created a new promo card to be able to pass/send out which will also have my logo on the back. Never really good at self promotion and would prefer to just shoot and not be bothered though paying the bills is a nice thing :) Anybody know of a photo agent who’d like to take me on, I just might be interested?

An awesome weekend as a participant at this years PDXSQ2013 photo competition with 70 talented photographers presented by the ASMP. Great thanks to Leah Nash and Christopher Onstott for their fine efforts in organization along with the many other sponsors and Jim Felt of Studio3 for the space and entertaining judging. Fortunate to have won for Documentary Photography and also Urban Landscape especially with all the amazing images submitted and talented photographers.

Having a great time with 69 other photographers at PDXSQ 2013.

Odd little moment you don’t see every day :)

Training is now starting to ramp up with Cycle Greater Yellowstone just 4 months away. Gotta be in top shape if I’m planning to ride/shoot all the way! Thinking it might be cool to have some sponsors and create a riding jersey with all of their logos. The ride will have some expenses like new gear, bicycle tune up, food, tent service, etc… Any suggestions, feel free to let me know.

As if my life could get any better, I have just signed a contract to be the event/riding photographer for the first Cycle Greater Yellowstone happening this August! There will be 1,000 riders cycling for a week about the nation park region with little town destinations each night. The organizer is Jim Moore who has worked hard to run Cycle Oregon for the past 10 years so it should be an amazing event. This photography/cycling thing just might be my thing :)

Another that got away but has been found. At South Point on the Big island there are old lava tubes that are open to the ocean in which blasts of water can rise out of. Some not so smart folks risk the danger and go in any way, a calculated risk of sorts.
